Mario Kart Wii

May 8, 2008

I've been slacking with posting again.  Work and Mario Kart have kept me busy.  Not too much is new.  Class is about over.  My birthday was fun.  Got Mario Kart, a Logitech G15 Kboard, and Gran Turismo 3 and a wheel for my PS2.  Well the folks want me to do the trash sho I better get on that.

Oh and if you like Zelda check this flash series out.  It's pretty good.  The eps are short at the beginning but they get longer so keep watching.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl FTW!

March 17, 2008

It's official, Brawl rocks the world.  It's amazing and masterful in all aspects.  It's Melee but bigger, more polished, and more balanced.  Oh and it has online play.  That's about all I've been doing for 3 days straight.  Melee was only lacking in that fact that I didn't always have someone to play with.  If you've been waiting for the reason to get a Wii this'd be it.  I don't know if I even need to buy another game for my Wii.  Even WoW is getting neglected because of Brawl.  If you play WoW then you know that's saying something.  The bottom line is that Brawl is really, really, really good.  If you have a Wii buy this game NOW.  If you don't have a Wii: buy a Wii and this game NOW.

Still Alive

February 13, 2008

I'm makeing a post and I'm still alive. Bonus points to you if you caught the reference. On to the real reasons I'm posting.

I think the video speaks for itself. I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this is. Just watch the video. This is done in MUGEN in case you didn't know.

Ok on to reason two. My first real flash movie is in the works. Watch for it on my deviant art account.

Oh and one more thing.  I'll allow comments on this post so if you want to sound off about how awesome the vid is feel free to do so.

I'm back in class + Daemon reposted

January 9, 2008

Like the tile says, I'm off break and class has started up again.  It's somewhat of a mixed blessing.  For one my teacher has changed up the final project again so the MMO may not be getting much done on it for now.  I'll try to continue working on it.  It's definitely on my mind and will not be forgotten ever.  It's something I really, really want to do.  Hopefully I'll be able to post some sprites or something to let you know that I am in fact working on it.

I've also reposted my Daemon.  It will be working now since I dumped the stupid flash widget.

My two reasons for being an update slacker.

January 2, 2008

I'll give you 3 guesses.

.

..

...

OK, times up. If you guessed Super Mario Galaxy and The Orange Box you're right or a cheater who looked at my tags for this post.

The Orange Box!
Words can not describe how awesome Half-Life 2 is. I just beat the thing a few days ago and what a ride it was. If you haven't played HL2 and like FPS games AT all you owe it to yourself to buy The Orange Box. Go buy it.....NOW! Plus, it's 5 really awesome games for only $50. At that price how can you not buy it? <3 that gravity gun! But then again, SMG (lawl a mario game that abrevates into a gun haw haw!) just goes to show you that you don't need accurate physics or true gravity to have fun. That's right, platforming + messed gravity + super controls + LOTS of power stars = pure win. The game is amazing. I played an embarrassing amount of hours on it today and I still want to play it more. I don't even really like mario or platformers that much but I love this game! If you own a Wii this one...

R.I.P. SCO December 26th 2007

December 23, 2007

I don't know if you play SCO but as a long time player I feel compelled to pay my respects to a great game whose life will be cut short very soon.  If you don't know what I'm talking about you can read it here.  If you'd like to pay your respects too here's a little memorial banner I made.  I'll allow comments on this post if you have any memories or fond words about SCO.

Feel free to save it to your comp and add it to your signature on forums or where else you'd like.

On a lighter note I recently discovered the band Dragonforce.  Two words: Absolutely Amazing!  But those words hardly do their skills justice.  Never before have I heard such fast guitars!  Nor such thundering drums!   I suggest you look them up on itunes IMMEDIATELY if you enjoy metal or rock in the slightest bit.   Ever since I heard 'Through the Fire and the Flames' while watching my friend Cyrus play through the song on expert on Guitar Hero 3 (yup, he's good. ^^) I've found their sound very pleasing.  I suppose it was only a matter of time before I went looking...

MMO update: use case finished, another started.

December 19, 2007

Finshed the use case for inventory and I've started on the one for the main user inteface or MUI (as I've named it). I'm running out of time though. I need to have these done by friday so I can turn them in.

Not much to report

December 14, 2007

I updated my deviant art journal today. I've started the use case for inventory like I said I would.

Things from yesterday:

I met up with a long lost friend. It's great that I finally ran into him again! We even started playing GE again. I sense many more good times to come. I beat Phantom Hourglass either yesterday or the day before that. Good game that, the last boss was decently hard actually, quite nice for a change. I won't go in to details so I won't spoil it for anyone. Now I'm headed back through the game and I'm looking for all the secrets that I missed.

MMO miniupdate + Zelda DS lite

December 11, 2007

Hi all,

Small MMO progress report. I've finished the use cases for character creation and weapon forging. The next use case I'll do is the inventory system. The most interesting thing that happened today was I got one of those Limited Edition Zelda: PH bundles with the sweet gold DS.

My Daemon - also first blog post!

December 8, 2007

Yep, I has my own website now, pretty cool huh? I'd like to give a shout out to Blizzaga of the ZU online community for leading me to the daemon thing and this free hosting site! Thanks!

Now that thats done with on to the real post.

I must say that daemon personality test is pretty accurate. If you'd like your own roll over mine and click.

Things I will be posting here:

Updates to my MMOARPG that's in the works, updates to my deviant art page, and other stuff like my thoughts on games and such.

edit:

Too bad the little flash thing with my daemon in it doesn't work lemme see if I can fix it. I'll move her to her own page and see if that helps.

edit:

It's been long enough and it still doesn't work so I've removed it from the site for now.  I think I'll just screen shot my daemon's wallpaper and post that.
